MACLEHOSE MEDICAL REHABILITATION CENTRE

Introduction Opened by the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation in 1984, the Centre provides comprehensive and individually tailored rehabilitation programmes to help physically disabled people achieve self-reliance and reintegrate into the community. It also offers long-term care to those with major disabilities after they have been discharged from hospitals. It remains closely linked with the Society as well as the University of Hong Kong for conducting many joint projects concerning specialised and community-based rehabilitation services.
