We have over 10 years of experience as laser safety officers. Since then we have been working together with laser devices, alexandrite and diode lasers, on permanent hair removal. Together we treat and advise our customers. Unwanted hair growth on the face and body is perceived by many as cosmetically disturbing. In order to get rid of the annoying hair, many sufferers often experiment over the years with a wide variety of conventional methods, which are often painful and aggressive. How does laser epilation work? Traditional epilation methods mostly tackle the problem on the surface. The hair is shortened (shaving), torn out (wax, epilator) or destroyed by chemical agents (creams). The "evil" tackled at the root! Laser epilation literally starts at the roots: the high-energy laser beam penetrates the upper layers of the skin and only unfolds its full effect in the roots. The actual target of the laser beam is the melanin (dye) present in the hair follicle. The hair root is specifically destroyed by the heat generated there.
