Aguilas Plaza Shopping Mall

Águilas Plaza is a Spanish shopping center located in El Hornillo, a residential area located east of Águilas (Murcia). It has a constructed area of ​​71,000 m2, 21,500 are intended for commercial area and 3,200 for outdoor terraces. Next to the shopping center are the El Hornillo Multicines , which have 8 rooms. It is a 10-minute walk from the Plaza de España and has a regular urban bus line every 20 minutes. In it you can find tributes to the railroad and the sea, two hallmarks of the city of Águilas, such as the benches scattered along the corridors that resemble small sailing boats, the blue neons located in the main hall that recall the waves of the sea or the two aquariums located at the main entrance. There is also a bust of the aquiline actor Paco Rabal, at the entrance of the shopping center.
