About company
In August 2002, Mimi Kuo-Deemer and Robyn Wexler founded Yoga Yard in Beijing. At that time, yoga teaching in Beijing was usually conducted in stadiums-the environment there was very unfavorable for yoga, which requires quiet and relaxation. We founded Yoga Yard based on the principles of health, concentration and safety, focusing on high-quality teaching, and most importantly, letting everyone feel the love for yoga. Yoga Yard price value concept Yoga Yard is based on the love and joy of yoga practice yoga brings established, high-quality teaching and respect for the practice of yoga is our first principle. We are committed to helping students gain a deeper understanding of yoga and improve their practice. We open the door to all people, regardless of age, gender, experience, level and physical condition. Through correct yoga asana practice, it can help us purify the body, strengthen the muscles, and at the same time improve the flexibility of the body, nourish the internal organs and regulate our nervous system, deeply relax our body and mind, and improve our health. However, the physical benefits are only part of yoga's rich philosophical and life practice to promote mental and spiritual health. The practice of yoga encourages us to experience more inner peace, clarity and joy. Everyone has different goals for practicing yoga: some people want to relieve back pain, some people want to improve the flexibility of the body, some people want to reduce stress, or they want to calm their minds. No matter what prompted you to learn yoga in the first place, as long as you keep practicing, as time goes by, you will find that yoga will bring you far more than that. In Yoga Yard, we provide courses of different levels to meet the needs of different students, so that students can understand and improve their practice. In the practice, the difficulty of the action will be adjusted according to the students' situation to ensure the safety of the students' practice. We emphasize the use of breathing to focus on thoughts and lead actions. This kind of physical training will expand our deeper self-knowledge and awareness. By focusing our attention on our breath and body, we will pay more attention to our current state-the state we are in yoga. When our consciousness is growing and new potentials are being released, we are also undergoing a process of self-transformation. This is the real gift that yoga brings us. Off to Yoga Yard named ? The Yoga Garden was born in the courtyard of Gui Gong Mansion (Gui Gong was the younger brother of Empress Dowager Cixi in the Qing Dynasty, and it is said that the mansion was the residence of Cixi before her marriage). We named it Yoga Yard to commemorate its origin, and the literal translation into "Yoga Yard" is also very appropriate. Our environment in the main hall is very good, with high roofs and windows on all sides. However, the Chaoyang Gate adjacent to the courtyard has undergone extensive reconstruction. Although Gui Gong Mansion has been preserved as a cultural relic, we can no longer use it. It became a Chinese restaurant in September 2003. Then we moved to the vicinity of the Lama Temple and spent three years there. Today's Yoga Garden : Now we have moved to Sanlitun. We provide a total of more than 50 yoga classes every week for students of any level. In addition to regular classes, we also include relaxation and recovery classes, meditation classes, singing classes, and prenatal and postnatal classes. Small class teaching increases the possibility of more interaction between teachers and students. On average, there are 6 to 20 students per class.
