Welcome everyone to the Oriental Language Institute! The languages offered by this hospital start in the Atlas Mountains on the southern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, extend eastward and end in the Tsushima Strait. This vast and magical land is the East.
The East is very ancient, and the four ancient civilizations and many other civilization sites are scattered among them. The East is vibrant again, and its economic vitality has attracted worldwide attention. It is a misunderstanding that Chinese people often regard the major of our hospital as a minor language. Take Arabic as an example. The population ranks fourth in the world. It is the working language of the United Nations along with English, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish. The literature dates back to the 4th century and is far earlier than English. Why is it "small"? ! When we take the initiative to open up and achieve self-improvement, we need to learn more about the world and go to the world, the importance of learning and studying Eastern languages is self-evident.
This school not only trains high-level talents engaged in the research of Eastern languages and literatures, and helps people understand the cultures of Eastern countries; it also trains research talents who use Eastern languages as tools to engage in high-end political and economic exchanges with Eastern countries, so as to provide more opportunities for our country to go global.
