As the umbrella association for secondary raw materials, recycling and waste management with the largest number of members, the bvse represents around 900 companies. The bvse Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Disposal was founded in 1949. It is now the branch umbrella organization with the largest number of members The following applies to all industrialized nations: It doesn't work without available raw materials! The world population is growing and more and more people rightly claim to be given an appropriate share in the resources of our world. The raw materials in our world are limited. It is therefore our job to deal with them as carefully and efficiently as possible. That is why it is important today and in the future to use the available raw materials as often as possible. Waste is therefore not rubbish. Our waste contains important recyclable materials such as waste paper, scrap, old plastics, metals or glass, which are nothing more than (secondary) raw materials for commercial and industrial production. The bvse Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Disposal eV sees itself as a strong mouthpiece for this important future industry. We competently support our member companies in a highly competitive and demanding market. Together with our companies, we have built a successful network for the recycling and waste management industry. Many of our members have found their way to the bvse because in daily conversations with politics and administration, with authorities and institutions, they experience the importance of reliable, continuous and convincing lobbying by an industry umbrella organization with a large number of members. We attach great importance to the fact that our member companies benefit from the competence and service of our association for their daily work. This can be seen in an interdisciplinary and committed team in the federal office, and it is shown in the work of our entrepreneurs in the committees of our association. Our claim is clear: We want to make our members and our industry even stronger!
