Job Profile Summary: Strong background in Supply chain having significant technical expertise. Skilled in execution of successful supply chain and logistical processes. Responsible for Logistics management to ensure sufficient supply of goods. Deliver products to agreed customer service targets and achieve top tier customer. Key areas of responsibility: Having a track record of maintaining positive relationships with business partners, Operations and Distribution Managers. Dedicated to provide strategic counsel and subject matter expertise to drive enterprise objectives and goals. Collaborates with other Supply Chain Planning Partners , to achieve the budgeted monthly sales estimate to and ensure meeting the full targeted sales figures of each market and avoid any out of stock situation. Drive compliance with financial regulations around the globe. Implements changes across supply sites operations processes and Logistics interface to ensure that a professional link is maintained between the two functions. Handles and resolves delivery and transportation issues to the final destination. Manages day to day activities (complaints, returns, expediting .. with all relevant stakeholders. Develops insights and drives change through appropriate exploitation of information systems with the intent of optimizing performance, and minimizing risks associated with commercial operations and driving decisions Actively works with sites, central functions Global Supply Directors and Finance Directors to develop in depth understanding of the supply chain and develop accurate long-term forecasts. Analyses and reviews data rigorously, identify and resolve inconsistencies and assure the quality of the outputs in order to ensure the major insights and issues are agreed with key stakeholders Collaborates with other Supply Chain Planning Partners and other key Information Management professionals to develop best practice, ensuring consistency where appropriate Undertakes management reporting activity as required. Liaise with both Global Finance, Operations team and customers to comply with AstraZeneca letter of credit templates to ensure a smooth and accurate compliance with AstraZeneca terms to guarantee settlements of orders payments and avoid discrepancies or late settlements. Minimum Criteria, Competencies & Personal Attributes: A minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in Supply Chain Experience of supporting global processes and systems; working with projects and systems to tight deadlines and service levels across different technology bases Understanding of and experience in some or all of the following: corporate governance, risk management, compliance, Supply Chain. Expert understanding of Multinational corporates and Pharmaceutical industry. Expert understanding of Pharmaceutical tender business is desirable.
